Animal Cells

Thumbnail of cultured muscle cells Cultured muscle cells. The red fluorescence shows NFAT, a transcription factor that may be involved in the activation of exercise genes (we get more mitochondria etc. after jogging). Blue is a DNA stain showing the nuclei of these cells.
