If you need to find a member of academic staff in a university or research centre one possibility is to use the Life Sciences Directory of academic staff. Otherwise, if you know they work in the UK and know of their location you may be able to find them from the UK University BioScience Department homepages. If they work outside the UK you might be able to get some help from the Gradschools.com Website.

You could also try Who's Who Online.....

.....or try the Community of Science Searchable Database, which mainly covers the US and Canda.
