Here at Biology4all.com we believe in making the site accessible for all. We are therefore actively working towards making the entire site compliant with W3C/WCAG and Section 508 accessibility guidelines using UsableNet's LIFT Accessibility enhancement for Macromedia Dreamweaver. Most site pages already comply with W3C/WCAG and Section 508 accessibility guidelines, and we are working on the others. All pages have a "Text-only" link that allows visitors to use Betsie - the BBC Education Text to Speech Internet Enhancer. This is a filter program that has been developed by the BBC to create an automatic text-only version of a website. Thus by clicking the "Text-only" link on any of our pages (including this one) you will be able to view the entire site with fonts and colours that may be more suited to your disability (or perhaps preference). To find out more about Betsie visit the Betsie Home Page. As part of our continuing programme of improvement could we ask that, if you find any of our pages less than fully accessible, please email your comments to us and we wil endeavour to rectify the problem with all haste. |
